Brock/Dokiwari Headline at DePaul on May 15th
David Diaz, Hernandez and Perez also featured

Chicago, IL - Kathy Duva's Main Events and Dominic Pesoli's 8 Count Productions team up on Saturday May 15th to bring a huge afternoon of boxing to the DePaul Athletic Center in Chicago as part of the Budweiser NBC/Telemundo Boxing Series. Fresh off his exciting win over Emanuel Augustus, Exciting Chicago junior welterweight David Diaz, 23-0 (12), opens the nationally televised broadcast as he takes on former world champion Columbian Ener Julio, 25-6 (18) in a scheduled ten round affair. Headlining the card is a big heavyweight ten rounder between Calvin Brock, 20-0 (18) and heavy handed veteran Nigerian Duncan Dokiwari, 22-2 (19).

Brock looks to continue his streak of ten consecutive knockouts while Dokiwari comes off a close decision battle to top contender Dominick Guinn this past fall. In a special feature attraction Lee Ralston, 13-0 (7) of Buffalo, New York takes on Sergio Mora of Los Angeles, CA, in a scheduled eight round bout.

Also appearing on the card are hot local prospect junior middleweight Miguel "Macho" Hernandez, 9-1 (7)and KO artist welterweight Luciano "El Gallo Bravo" Perez, 7-0 (6), in separate six round bouts. Hernandez and Perez both come off solid KO wins last month at DePaul.

More information on these and other bouts will be announced shortly. The DePaul Athletic Center is located at 2323 N. Sheffield in the Lincoln Park section of Chicago. Doors for this special Saturday afternoon show open at 11:30 am, first bell is 12:15pm. Tickets starting at $25 can be obtained in advance by calling 312-226-5800.
