Pro Boxing Returns to Northern Jersey
Ballroom boxing is coming to Hanover Marriott on Route 10 East in Whippany, New Jersey, on Friday, June 25. Promoter Andre Kut of KEA Boxing will present a ten round main event which will feature Ross "The Boss" Thompson of Newark, New Jersey, vs Rico Cason of Nashville, Tennessee.
Other boxers scheduled to appear are the popular Dennis Sharpe of Bayonne, New Jersey, Said Ouali of Morristown, New Jersey, and unbeaten prospect Victor Paz of The Bronx, New York. Amateur star Wendy La Motta will also be turning pro on the undercard.
Ticket prices will be $35.00 for general admission, $50.00 for reserved seating. $100.00 for VIP seats will also include a pre-fight hour of wine, beer and soda, plus finger food and the chance to hob-nob with former name boxers from the area including former world champions Bobby Czyz and Al "Ice" Cole.
