"I talked to Mike last week in L.A., where hereceived an honorary award held by the Golden State Boxing Association. He said he was coming to see brother Troy face Greg Wright in the 10 round main event." Georgino said he is a "really nice guy and he will probably love to give autographs to the fight fans." Weaver was to attend the Lucky Eagle fights in February, but had to cancel. "He is very excited to see Troy fight and there will not be any controversy this time", Georgino said. Troy Weaverdeclined to fight Greg Wright in March, because Wright was three pounds over the weight limit. Mike Weaver had a 40-18-1 record with 28 knockouts and battled the likes ofLennox Lewis, Michael Dokes, James Tillis, Larry Holmes, and many others and was know for his powerful punches. Younger brother, Troy, has gained areputation for being one of the hardest punchers in the world.
