U.S. Marines Boxing Team Great Northeast Tour

BOSTON, Mass. (September 10, 2004) – S & L Boxing has announced that tickets for the first two legs of the U.S. Marines Boxing Team Great Northeast Tour in November will go on sale Tuesday, September 14.
Mixed among the cultural tours of Old Ironsides in Boston, Pequot Museum at Foxwoods Resort Casino (Mashantucket, Connecticut) and the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, the “Fightin’ Leathernecks” will compete in a three-part amateur boxing series for the benefit of the U.S. Marines Scholarship Fund.
“We’re honored to be involved with the U.S. Marines Boxing Team and proud to be promoting the Great Northeast Tour,” S & L Boxing president Sal LoNano said. “We’ve been interested in doing this for two years, but the timing wasn’t right until now. It has even more meaning for me because my son, Jason, is a PFC in the Marines.”
