JEFFRIES DEFENDS IFBA FEATHERWEIGHT TITLE AT SEVEN FEATHERS Twenty-eight year old Kelsey Jeffries is trained by former two-time world champ James "Buddy" McGirt. She attends extended training camps in his Elite Boxing Gym in Vero Beach, Florida, home of Antonio Tarver, Arturo Gatti, and other top-flight boxers trained by McGirt. Standing at five feet four inches, Jeffries has a healthy professional record of 29 wins, eight losses and two knockouts. Her titles include IFBA Featherweight (126 lbs) World Champion, IBA Super Bantamweight (122 lbs) World Champion, WIBA Intercontinental Super Featherweight (130 lbs) Champion, WIBF Americas Featherweight Champion, California State 126 Lb Champion, WBAN 2003 Fighter Of The Year and IFBA 2003 Fighter Of The Year. Jeffries won her IBA Super Bantamweight World Championship (122 lbs) on September 23, 2004, at the HP Pavilion, known as "The Shark Tank," in San Jose, in a roaring leather storm against Jerri Sitzes. Jeffries makes her fifth defense of her IFBA Featherweight (126 lb) World Championship against tough, former world champion kickboxer, Trisha Hill who is ranked #2 by the IFBA at 126 lbs. Trisha “TNT” Hill, from Gainesville, Georgia, has just recently won the WIBF Featherweight World Title, and was named the 2004 WBAN’s March Fighter of the month. Hill, born on March 18, 1975, standing at 5’3, at 126 lbs has been in contact sports for many years. Her professional boxing record is 6-4-0, 4 KOs; kickboxing record is 16-2-0, 5 KO’s; and her amateur boxing record was 36-3-0, 4 KO’s.
