New York Boxers Showcase Talents at Mohegan Sun
Main event features Chris Smith versus David Estrada; Co-feature includes Brooklyn’s undefeated Sechew Powell against Aslanbek Kodzoev

UNCASVILLE, CT – Mohegan Sun will host a unique televised boxing event presented by DiBella Entertainment that features some of New York’s most-talented, top-rated boxers. Held in the Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, January 21st, Chris Smith (19-0-1, 12KO’s) from Queens, New York will battle David Estrada (17-1, 8KO’s) from Miami in the main event, while Sechew Powell (14-0, 9KO’s) from Brooklyn, New York will meet Aslanbek Kodzoev (14-1-1, 9KO’s) from Philadelphia in the co-feature. These two bouts will be televised live on Showtime’s “Shobox: The Next Generation” boxing series.

The undercard will be aired on tape delay on the popular Broadway Boxing Presented by Mohegan Sun, and features welterweight Joshua Clottey (27-1, 19KO’s) from the Bronx, New York, middleweight Raymond Joval (32-3, 14KO's) from Brooklyn, New York, 2004 Olympian Andre Berto (1-0, 1KO) from Winter Haven, Florida, and Ehinomen “Hino” Ehikhamenor (9-0, 6KO’s) from Queens, New York.

Smith, the unbeaten Queens native, will square off against Estrada in a 12-round showdown as an IBF Welterweight Eliminator for the #2 ranking.
