Championship boxing on the internet Feb. 15!

Live Broadcast on Tuesday, 15th February 2005, 18:00
US Times: 9:00am US PT, 12am US ET

Stuttgart - It will be the longest boxing event ever shown live on the internet. On Tuesday, February 15, www.boxing.de will do a 4-hour broadcast from 18:00 to 22:00 with seven live fights from a Spotlight Boxing show in Stuttgart, Germany.

The broadcast, however, will not only impress with quanitity but also with quality. The internet live card includes two world championship contests, an international duel between two unbeaten super middleweight contenders as well as a fight with jr. welterweight top contender Andreas Kotelnik.

The Internet Highlights:

One Zero has to go!

Venezuelan Gusmyl Perdomo, 8-0 (5), and Frenchman Thierry Karl, 11-0 (8), clash in an explosive battle between two unbeaten super middleweight contenders.

Stars in the making: IBF Youth World Championship!

The youngsters Renan Acosta, 22 years, 15-2 (5), from Panama and Rashad Ismayilov, 20 years, 14-0 (3), take on each other in Stuttgart for the vacant IBF Youth world title at super featherweight.

Woman world title fight!

German boxing beauty Silke Weickenmeier, 17-3-3, will defend her WIBF featherweight world title live on www.boxing.de against American Jayal Ortiz, 11-6-4 (3).

Comeback of a top contender!

Ukrainian Andreas Kotelnik, 23-1 (11), will celebrate his comeback since losing a jr. welterweight world title eliminator against Soulemayne Mbaye in October 2004. His aim: Getting to the top again quickly. His opponent in Stuttgart: Argentine Marcelo Gonzalo Saucedo, 9-1-1.
