Bonislawski vs. Shabazz Headlines Tomorrow Night At Dorchester Armory

BOSTON, MA (March 24, 2005) – Tomorrow night’s rescheduled Ward-Kelly Promotions pro boxing card, being dedicated to the memory of late trainer Jimmy Farrell, Sr., has some late bout changes.

Mike Bonislawski, of Cambridge will take on Bellows Falls, Vermont’s Khalif Shabazz in the eight-round super middleweight main event to be held at the United States National Guard Armory on Victory Road in Dorchester.

The co-feature will pit hard-hitting Missy Fiorentino, of Cranston, RI, against Atlanta’s Kimberly Colbert in a battle of female featherweights scheduled for six rounds.

Among those also scheduled to appear on the card are Irish super middleweight Paschal Collins, and a pair of Irish middleweight facing each other in their pro debuts: John Paul Keane, of Galway, and Ray Stafford, of Limerick.

The show, marking the promotional debut of Martin Ward and Danny Kelly, was originally scheduled to be held two weeks ago but was postponed due to the news of an impending snowstorm.

Tickets are priced at $35 (ringside) and $25 (general admission) and can be purchased at the door.
