Dominic Guinn (left) with the CBZ's Karl Hegman, says he's ready to give tonight's opponent, Friday Ahunanya, a thorough beating. The bout, which will be fought at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, NV, will be featured on ESPN2's Friday Night Fights.

Dominic Guinn is 25-2-0 with 18 KO's, while Friday Ahunanya is 20-3-1 (11 KO's). Both Guinn and Ahunanya have decision losses to Serguei Lyakhovich; Guinn is coming off a loss to him in December 2004, his other loss being a split decision loss to Monte Barrett in March 2004; Ahunanya lost to Lyakhovich eight fights ago while his other two losses were his two most recent bouts--a UD loss to Taurus Sykes for the vacant NABF Heavyweight Title in March and a fifth round TKO loss to Lance Whitaker in April 2004.

In July of 2004, Dominic Guinn scored a one round knockout over veteran Phil Jackson (44-13-0, 38 KO's).

Dominic Guinn hails from Hot Springs, Arkansas, while Ahunanya hails from Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
