Amateur Stand-Out Aaron Williams to Sign with Warehouse Boxing, LLC and Jesse Reid!

There will be a press conference for Amateur stand-out and Cleveland native Aaron Williams in Highland Park, IL. Williams will be signing an exclusive management deal with Warehouse Boxing Club, LLC and an agreement with Hall of Fame Boxing Trainer, Jesse Reid to work as his trainer.

The event will take place Saturday June 18th at Bertucci’s Steak and Seafood, 246 Green Bay Road Highland Park, from 5 PM to 7 PM (phone: (847) 432-6663). The press conference is open to the press and by invite to the public. Food will be provided to press and attendees. A cash bar will also be available.

Williams, 19, had an impressive amateur career racking-up a 93-10 record and capturing nine National titles along the way. A Bronze medalist at the 2004 Olympic Trials, Williams won the National PAL, Silver Gloves, Golden Gloves, and Junior Olympic International Championships.

Williams, speaking from Barry’s Gym in Las Vegas, said “I’m very happy with my new team. I’m going to keep working hard, listen to Jesse and let my fists do the talking.”

Trainer Jesse Reid has high praise for his young fighter. “I see a young Lamon (Brewster) or Evander Holyfield in Aaron. He’s a very talented fighter with an incredible amateur background which will serve him well as a pro. He’s also a good looking kid who carries himself well”

Williams is scheduled to fight June 24th in Las Vegas and July 15th in his hometown of Cleveland, OH.

Co-managers Albert Falcon and Patrick Doljanin believe they put together a great team. “With the help of our sponsors, Dan Barnett and Scott Borre, we’re able to provide a package that will serve Aaron well”, said Falcon. “We’ve got the total package: a very good boxer, a strong and successful management team and the great Jesse Reid as trainer.”

“We’ve created a situation for Aaron where all he has to do is train and box and not have to worry about a 9-5 job”, added Doljanin. “We are currently negotiating a promotional contract that will get Aaron the experience and exposure he will need. There’s no doubt in my mind he will be the Cruiserweight champion in 2-years.”
