'Radisson Rumble' Warriors Weigh In at Langel's Pizza This Thursday!

HIGHLAND, IND.- Fans and Fighters will pack Langel's Pizza, 2833 Highway Ave., in Highland, IN one of Northwest Indiana's most popular restaurants, on Thursday, September. 29th, at 6:30 PM for the official weigh-ins for the "Radisson Rumble," the highly anticipated return of ONE IN A MILLION INC. to the region.
The "Radisson Rumble" will be held the following day, Friday, September.30th , At the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza, at I-65 and U.S. 30, in Merrillville, IN where promoters expect another packed house. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., with the action starting at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are available starting at $25.
The weigh-ins have become big events for Langel's, drawing throngs of fans eager to meet the Midwest's top fighters, said owner Rodney Langel.
"Langel's has always been a popular meeting and eating place, so adding fun events like the ONE IN A MILLION Weigh-Ins gives our customers something more to look forward to," Langel said.
Northwest Indiana has had a long boxing history, but the sport is enjoying a revival, thanks to deep support from fans and businesses, said Octavius James, CEO of ONE IN A MILLION INC.
"Sports fans come out in droves to our shows because of the high level of competition and entertainment we offer," James Said. "Having the area's top business people, like Rodney Langel and his team at Langel's Pizza, shows how far our team and professional boxing has come."
"Radisson Rumble" will feature IN.B.A. Middleweight Champion Jimmy "The Fighting Schoolteacher" Holmes (11-0, 6 KOs) defending his title against James Morrow (8-1-1, 4 KOs) of Lafayette, Ind.
In one of the most highly anticipated matches of the year, Chicago Middleweight Michael "The Midnight Stalker" Walker (7-0-1, 5 KOs) will face Anthony "Showtime" Shuler (18-3-1, 12 KOs), an Indianapolis fighter with deep experience and a tough guy reputation. Along with Light Heavyweight Guy Solis (11-4), Lightweight Jaime Avaraldo (3-3), Light Welterweight Jermaine White (10-0) and "Merciless" Mary McGee to round the card.
