RESULTS FIGHT NIGHT 51 Jesse Feliciano ,(13-4-2) (8KO) 139 lbs. vs. Rafael Ortiz (11-8-1) (11 KO) 139 lbs. Jesse Feliciano defeated Rafael Ortiz by TKO in 3:00 of the 9th round. Feliciano never stopped punching. His endless energy and amazing stamina wore Ortiz down. Ortiz fought with tremendous heart, he battled and nearly knocked Feliciano out in the 4th round. This remarkable fight was called after the 9th round ended. Ortiz sat in his corner bloody and tired, the event doctor examined him and decided he could not continue, the crowd booed. JR. NWBA Super Lightweight Title Fight, 8 Rounds Angelo Torres , Lakewood, WA(12-15-2) (3 KO) 128 lbs. vs. Sean Plessis (13-2) (3 KO) 130 lbs. Sean Plessis defeated Angelo Torres in a unanimous 8 round decision. Plessis dominated the fight. Plessis picked his opponent apart in a calculated and deliberate manner. Plessis pounded Torres’s gut with one violent body blow after another. Eventually, Torres dropped his hands and Plessis had his way with him for the rest of the fight. Plessis won the fight unanimously. All three judges scored it 79-72.
Lightweight , Scheduled 4 Rounds Tariq Jooya , (5-3-1) (3 KO) 136 lbs. vs. Eloy Perez , Rochester, WA (2-0) (1KO) 135 lbs. Eloy Perez defeated Tariq Jooya in a unanimous 4 round decision. Perez, a High School Senior and amateur Golden Glove Champion, has started his professional boxing career with two dominant victories. The fight was never in doubt. Perez is lighting fast and packs a thunderous punch. Jooya was manhandled by a kid half his age and twice as lethal as he was. Perez won a unanimous decision. The judges scored it 40-36, 40-36, 39-37. Heavyweight, Scheduled 4 Rounds Eric Boose, Puyallup, WA (5-0-1) (3 KO) 253 lbs. vs. Bridger Bercier, (4-3) (2 KO) 233 lbs. Eric Boose defeated Bridger Bercier in a unanimous 4 round decision. Boose is big, powerful and long. He had at least 5’inches in reach on Bercier, and smashed him with his lengthy jab the entire evening. The fight was never close, all three judges scored the bout 40-36. Super Welterweight, Scheduled 4 Rounds Ray Perales, (1-1) 173 lbs. vs. Richard Langley, Tacoma, WA (2-1 ) (2 KO) 176 lbs.. Ray Perales defeated Richard Langley in a unanimous 4 round decision. Perales weathered the storm in the early rounds and in a gutsy comeback managed to upset the more aggressive and hard punching Langley. Perales was resilient; he managed to keep Langley away with his active jab. Langley kept trying to land the KO blow, but came up short. All three judges scored the bout 39-37.
Light Heavyweight, Scheduled 4 Rounds Brad McPeake, (1-9-2) (1 KO) 185 lbs. vs. Wayne Tyler, Everett, WA (2-3) 176 lbs.. Wayne Tyler defeated Brad McPeake in a split 4 round decision. McPeake landed a couple of haymakers, and Tyler dominated most of the fight. Tyler edges out McPeake for the hard fought victory. The judges scored the bout 39-37, 39-37, 37-39 for Tyler.
