Friday at the Turning Stone Casino, Amherst, New York’s 18-year-old power punching sensation, Vincent Arroyo, brought his record to a perfect 2-0 (2 KOs) by stopping Ohio’s Shane Gierke at 1:44 of round two.
The pulverizing super lightweight has vowed to level anyone who tries to stop him from becoming the next Puerto Rican/American superstar in boxing. He is promoted by Buffalo’s astute boxing man Rick Glaser and managed by Hasim Rahman manager Steve Nelson. “Another fight, another knockout,” said an excited Glaser. “Vincent knows the fans love knockouts and he’s always out to deliver them.”
