Nick LaPort Heads Up Cast in Weigh-Ins for 'Showdown II' at Lang's Pizzeria!
MERRILLVILLE, IND.- Thursday, November 17th at 7:00 PM. The region's biggest sports fans will meet the Midwest's hottest fighters as Langel's Pizzeria, 2833 Highway Ave in Highland, hosts the Official Weigh-ins for One in a Million's "Pre-Thanksgiving Showdown II".
Nick Cook, a LaPorte Light Heavyweight, brings his nearly perfect record (14-1) to the "Showdown II" just days after joining One in a Million, Inc. The card will feature five more bouts and is expected to be the eighth straight sold-out One in a Million, Inc. show.
"Nick adds a new dimension to what we offer our fans, which is already some of the best up and coming fighters in boxing," said Octavius James, CEO of One in a Million, Inc.
"And, with support from established companies like Langel's, we continue to spread our message to bigger and bigger crowds."
The "Showdown II" is expected to pack in another standing room only crowd Friday, November 18, at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza US 30 & I 65 in Merrillville, IN. Tickets are on sale now, starting at $25. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the first bout will be at 8 p.m.

Each weigh-in event packs regulars and new guests into Langel's to see some of the Midwest's most talented pro fighters, said Rodney Langel.
