WBC Will Award Best of 2005 at the 'Night of Champions' in Cancun!

"The Night of Champions" in Cancun will have an extra attraction and what an attraction it is!
At the WBC Executive Office in Mexico City, we are in the process of receiving the votes for the best of the year and once we have all the responses from the Board of Governors, we will disclose the results.
The awards for the best of 2005 will be presented on January 31 in Cancun during the grandiose ceremony the "Night of Champions" that the WBC has been organizing, and which undoubtedly will be one of the most extraordinary in the history of world boxing.
Down there in the Mexican paradise of the Caribbean, the very best of the year 2005 will be presented their awards. Among the proposals to select the awardees, there are several prominent Mexicans:
For Fight of the Year:
1. Jose Luis Castillo vs. Diego Corrales (1)
2. Erik Morales vs. Manny Pacquiao
3. Jorge Arce vs. Hussein Hussein
4. Humberto Soto vs. Rocky Juárez
For Boxer of the Year:
1. Oscar Larios
For Knockout of the Year:
1. Brian Viloria over Eric Ortiz
2. Marco Antonio Barrera over Mzonke Fana
3. Jose Luis Castillo over Diego Corrales (2)
For Greatest Boxing Promotion:
1. Diego Corrales vs. Jose Luis Castillo (1)
2. Erik Morales vs. Manny Pacquiao
For Revelation of the Year:
1. Humberto Soto
For Freshman (Beginner) of the Year:
