Euro-Beat: Info on Arthur Abraham's March 4th Defense and More!

Sauerland Event have announced that IBF 160 lb champ Arthur Abrahamīs scheduled March 4 defence will take place in Oldenburg. In the co-headliner WIBF jr middle champ Heidi Hartmann face mandatory challenger Marischja Sjauw. German heavy Luan Krasnigi returns March 11 in the headliner of a big Universum show at the Color Line Arena in Hamburg.

Jr welters Gabriel Mapouka and Krzystof Bienias clash February 18 in Warzaw for the vacant EU crown.

Italian cruiser Vincenzo Cantatore have been named mandatory challenger for newly crowned EBU champ David Haye. Cantatore just lost a split call to WBO ruler Johnny Nelson.

Pursebids for the EU heavyweight title clash between Steffen Nielsen and Michael Sprott, set for Dec 19, have been postponed until January 10.

British lightheavy Peter Haymer now have Frenchman Jean Louis Mandengue as co-challenger for the EU title after German Kai Kurzawa was withdrawn.
