World Sporting Promotions and partners promote in Monte Carlo March 18 with Israeli heavweight hopeful Roman Greenburg on top in a title fight. Belgian puncher Jackson Osei Bonsu is featured on the undercard.
Highly ranked supermiddle Rudy Markussen takes on Russian veteran Alexander Zaitsev on the Kessler vs Lucas show January 14 in Copenhagen. The plan is to showcase Rudy on the Gatti vs Damgaard show January 28 in Atlantic City as well. Lightweight Martin Kristjansen square off against Frenchman Adolphe Avadja.
Ukrainian heavy Taras Bidenko might face Swedish heavy Aldo Colliander January 24 in Hamburg. Colliander spent a lot of time in the Universum gym 2005 sparring with all their top names including Bidenko and feels he´s in with a good chance.
Former three-time EBU cruiser champ Aleksander Gourov plans to continue his career despite the 45 second blowout against David Haye December 16. Back in 98 Aleksander suffered a knockout loss inside 20 seconds of the first round against Terry Dunstan and came back to regain the EBU title. Gourov is closing in on 35 so it remains to be seen if it can be done a fourth time.
