Euro-Beat Update: Sidorenko Defends Title, Krasniqi Returns March 11!

WBA bantam champ Wladimir Sidorenko defends the title March 11 in Hamburg as co-headliner along with Luan Krasnigi. Jr welter Andreas Kotelnik is also featured in major fight.

Cristian De Martinis and Slawomir Ziemlowicz clash for the vacant WBA I/C 147 lb title January 27 in Val Della Torre.

WIBF bantam champ Anita Christensen is off Saturday´s show in Copenhagen due to a handinjury. Team Palle have added another prodebutant to the bill, the fourth, in 19-year old jr middle Thomas Povlsen, who´s billed as Danish boxing´s biggest talent since Mikkel Kessler.

The Sven Paris vs Giuseppe Loriga 154 lb eliminator for the Italian title is postponed until February 17. Promoter Sergio Cavallari will instead promote a show February 3 with Corrado Battaglia vs Giuseppe Truono in a rematch for the Italian 135 lb title. Battaglia won the first on the third round stoppage.

Universum plans to have heavyweight Sinan Samil Sam return April 8 in Kiel.

Allan "Machoman" Gronfors and Daniel Peret clash for the vacant Int´l Finnish heavyweight title April 8 in Tornio (way up north in Finland (with Sweden across the river).

Bosnian heavy Jovo Pudar is reportedly back in the US after spending the entire 2005 back home where planned fights for one reason or another failed to materialize. Pudar lost to Samuel Peter in his last fight.
