CICERO, IL - Dominic Pesoli’s 8 Count Productions and Bob Arum’s Top Rank Incorporated along with Miller Lite and TCF Bank team up to present “HEART AND SOUL”, another evening of world class professional boxing at Cicero Stadium on Friday, February 17th.

In the main event of the evening four time world champion Kevin “The Flushing Flash” Kelley, (57-6-2, 38 KO’s) of Las Vegas, NV will take on perennial world title challenger and former Mexican champion Juan Carlos “Ranchero” Ramirez, (37-8, 16 KO’s) of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, in a scheduled ten round bout.

The co-main event will feature Chicagoland fan favorite Luciano “El Mohicano” Perez, (12-3-1, 11 KO’s) in an eight round welterweight bout.

Also appearing on the action packed evening in separate six round bouts are junior lightweight Humberto Chavez, middleweight Jorge Gonzalez, junior featherweight Omar Reyes and super featherweight Jaime Sandoval.

Much more information on this event will be announced very shortly.

Said Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions, “We’re off to a great year, the SHOBOX event kicked it off in great style, then this past Friday with the Escalante/Hernandez fight which was outstanding and the fans were thrilled to see Oscar. My apologies to fans who were unable to purchase tickets after we sold out Friday night.”

“We’re expecting another huge crowd for our upcoming event, I know that “Ranchero” is very popular here in Chicago and I’d encourage our fans to get tickets in advance. They’re getting a chance to see fantastic fights and our huge crowds are a testimonial to that.”

Cicero Stadium is located at 1909 S. Cicero Ave., just outside Chicago and is easily accessible from both the Eisenhower and Stevenson Expressways. Tickets, starting at $30, are on sale in advance by calling 312-226-5800.
