LAS VEGAS - Stevie “Lil’ But Bad” Johnston is looking for another shot at a title. He said recently, "I deserve another world title shot after all I’ve been through, out almost 2 ˝ years after my car accident, with three good wins since I came back trained by Buddy (McGirt). I’ve been doing all of the right things and now all I want is one more shot.”
The crafty Johnston, at 38-3-1 and 17 KOs, is rated No. 9 by the World Boxing Association and currently owns the IBO and NABC super lightweight titles.
Stevie’s list of victims during the course of his 12-year career as a pro includes Sharmba Mitchell, Jean Baptiste Mendy, Saul Duran, Cesar Bazan, James Page and Angel Manfredy.
