HAMMOND, IN - From the return of hard-hitting Light Heavyweight Nick Cook to boxing warrior Light Heavyweight Guy Solis' final fight and hungry up-and-comers, Octavius James/ One In A Million Inc.'s "Slugfest 2006" promises to make history Feb. 24th At the legendary Hammond Civic Center.

Defending his Indiana State Lightweight Title in the Main Event, Hammond's own Johnny "Kid One In A Million" Novak 14-1 (6 KO's) leads Cook 13-1 (7 KO's), Solis 11-6 (6 KO's) and a slate of hot prospects in the action-packed card.

"We're going to run the gamut, giving our fans the best in boxing again," said Octavius James, CEO of One In A Million Inc. Some of the Midwest's most sought after prospects, including undefeated Middleweight Michael "The Midnight Stalker" Walker 8-0 (7 KO's), IN.B.A. State Middleweight Champion Jimmy "The Fighting Schoolteacher" Holmes 11-0 (6 KO's), will pack "Slugfest 2006."

And, fan favorites like undefeated Super Lightweight sensation "Merciless" Mary McGee, 4-0 (3 KO's), considered one of the nations top female fighters, ring veteran Welterweight Ruben "Modern Day Warrior" Galvan 23-7 (9 KO's) and Cruiserweight Michael "Quiet Assassin" Parker will round out the card.
