Euro-Beat Update: Kessler May Defend Title April or May!

Danish newsagency Ritzau writes that WBA supermiddle champ Mikkel Kessler could be defending the title in April or May with Yussef Mack and William Joppy mentioned as opponents. As for where it appears that it could take place in either Denmark or the USA.

SES have been forced to postpone its planned February 25 show in Oranienburg due to an injury to local ticketseller Marco Schulze, the IBF I/C 154 lb champ. The show will now go ahead March 25 at the same venue.

Renowned Irish trainer Paddy Fitzpatrick is now residing in Berlin and will among others train Sauerland Eventsī talented lightheavy Kai Kurzawa.

OPI 2000 is looking to do Jr. Witter vs Giuseppe Lauri at the end of April in Italy. Itīs a mandatory defence for the EBU champ.

Danish feather Jagdar Abdulla, now signed with Frank Maloney, will make his British debut March 24 in London, writes bm-boxing.dk. Abdulla, 8-0-2, have been inactive since November of 04.

Serbian middle Dejan Ribac moved to 10-0 with a points win over Slovakian Oto Merlin last night (Feb 18) in Banja Luka.
