Euro-Beat Update: Chagaev and Virchis Fight in Hamburg on March 11th!

HAMBURG - Universum-Spotlight heavies Ruslan Chagaev and Wladimir Virchis clash March 11 in Hamburg on the undercard to Masoe vs Sturm in an interesting matchup. Virchis, the WBO I/C champ, struggled last time out to outpoint Michael Sprott . Chagaev is on the way up but will surely be tested by Virchis, who´s been in a lot tougher than the "White Tyson".
Lightheavies Peter Haymer and Jean Louis Mandengue clash April 8 in Pontaudemer, France, for the vacant EU title with EuroProm promoting.
Former WIBF bantam champ Michele Aboro, now residing in the Netherlands, is still looking to comeback.
