This photo was shot last May just days before Lamon Brewster's one round demolition of Andrew Golota at Chicago's United Center.

Word on the street, as confirmed by Trainer Buddy McGirt, was that Brewster went into camp very heavy and, although he lost a lot of weight prior to his bout versus Serguei Lyakhovich on April 1st, it wasn't enough, arguably hindering his efforts at times as he lost his World Boxing Organization Heavyweight Title in an electrifying 12 round unanimous decision loss.

Fighting at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio, both men were rocked and, in the end, they put on one of the more entertaining heavyweight bouts in recent memory.

The bout was televised live by ShowTime.

As such, we salute Lamon for his excellent attitude, heart and effort and wish him well in future endeavors.

And, as for the new champion, Serguei Lyakhovich, we congratulate you on your great accomplishment.

Well done, men!
