May Madness: Barrera vs. Juarez May 20th; Montiel vs. Gonzalez on May 27th!
LOS ANGELES - On May 20 Marco Antonio Barrera will defend his super featherweight crown against hard hitting Rocky Juarez at the Staples Center. Also on the card, Jorge Barrios will face Janos Nagy for the WBO Junior Lightweight title, live on HBO Championship Boxing.
Then on May 27, The Home Depot Center will host two more championship bouts when Junior bantamweight champion, Fernando Montiel challenges Jhonny Gonzalez for his WBO Bantamweight crown and Daniel Ponce De Leon defends his WBO Junior Featherweight title against undefeated Alejandro Barrera on HBO’s Boxing After Dark.
Both fightcards will be presented by Golden Boy Promotions.
