Chauncy Welliver Challenges NWBA Champ Chad Van Sickle June 10th!

Northwest heavyweight favorite Chauncy "The Baby Face" Welliver of Spokane, Washington will take his shot at the Northwest Boxing Association (NWBA) against of Grove City, Ohio's Chad Van Sickle in the 10 round main event at the Lucky Eagle Casino on Saturday, June 10th at 7pm. The 22 year old Welliver sports a 29-3-3 record with 11 knockouts and has won 10 straight fights. Ohio powerhouse Chad Van Sickle is no stranger to the northwest with six fights in Tacoma in 2004 and has a record of 21-3-2 with 12 knockouts.

Promoter Bennie Georgino said, "These experienced heavyweights will be battling for the 'Best in the West' reputation, with the winner evolving as a serious future contender for the World Heavyweight Championship Title."

Eloy Perez, Rochester, Washington's local favorite, who boasts a 5-0 unbeaten record will battle Daniel Gonzalez from Billings, MT in a six round match-up. Gonzalez is a southpaw and a more experienced fighter, which will be challenging for Perez, who has only fought in four round bouts.

The remainder of the bouts will be announced as contracts are confirmed.
