SOUTHPORT, Australia - 30 minutes before Sharon stepped into the ring on Friday night against Konsuay Deksukhothai of Thailand, Terry Knight of Gold Coast Porsche paid her a visit of encouragement in her change room.
His words were "Sharon, you do the job tonight and by Tuesday you will be driving your new yellow Porsche Bauxter. The only reason you have to wait until Tuesday is because Monday's a public Holiday". Terry also told Sharon he wanted to register the car with a number plate that resembles her fight name "Wildthing".
Sharon is due to arrive at Gold Coast Porsche 1 Harvest Court Southport at 3pm Tuesday to take possesion of her new car.
