HBO Definitely Will Replay Hopkins-Tarver Saturday, June 17th
It's a special edition of WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING when HBO Sports presents the exclusive replay of the light heavyweight showdown ANTONIO TARVER VS. BERNARD HOPKINS this SATURDAY, JUNE 17 at 9:30 p.m. (ET)/ 6:30 p.m. (PT) on HBO. The HBO Sports team, which was ringside for the live event at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, will call all the action.
The fight, which took place June 10 and was carried live on HBO Pay-Per-View, featured the highly anticipated 175-pound showdown between two of boxing's biggest stars, Antonio Tarver and Bernard Hopkins. The showdown ended in a decisive 12-round decision for Hopkins in his farewell ring performance.
Following the Tarver-Hopkins delay, HBO will present the previously announced 160-pound WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING title matchup between champion Jermain Taylor and challenger Winky Wright, live from Memphis.
HBO2 playdates for both fights: June 18 (9:00 a.m., 5:30 p.m.) and 20 (11:30 p.m.). Times are ET/PT.
