Jack Mosley had a chance to show the boxing world what kind of trainer he was after his son, "Sugar" Shane Mosley, was decked twice in the second round of his first fight with Vernon Forrest in January 2002.

Shane had never been hurt like that, and he needed his father/trainer to help him out. The problem was, Jack Mosley never boxed competitively. So the first time his son got into real trouble in a fight, his lack of knowledge was revealed and he froze.
