Mosley hooks a whopper
Pomona fighter beats Vargas with sixth-round TKO

LAS VEGAS - "Sugar" Shane Mosley is not considered a big puncher in the junior middleweight division, but he looked like a major-league hitter Saturday night in his fight against Fernando Vargas at MGM Grand.

Mosley, in perhaps his most impressive victory in some time, stopped Vargas at 2:38 of the sixth round before a stunned pro-Vargas crowd of 9,722.
