Tickets on Sale Now for the 'Civic Center Rumble'
HAMMOND, Ind. - Octavius James/One In A Million Inc., the Midwest's premiere pro boxing team in association with the City Of Hammond, Indiana announced tickets are on sale today for "Civic Center Rumble" September 23rd, 2006 at the Hammond Civic Center, 5825 Sohl Ave., Hammond, Indiana.

The Main Event will feature a highly anticipated NABC Light Heavyweight Championship War featuring La Porte's Nick Cook (14-1, 8 KO's) Vs. Jeff "Boom Boom" Baker (14-2, 7 KO's) Of Indianapolis, IN.
"Anyone who knows boxing in the Midwest know Cook and Baker are trying to build a reputation for themselves in the World Light Heavyweight Division," said Jack "Kid" Callahan, of One In A Million Inc. "This card will move one of them closer to that next level," Callahan said.
The CO-Main will feature a highly touted Epic Rematch for the IN.B.A. State Light Welterweight with Hammond's Ruben "The Modern Day Warrior" Galvan (26-9, 9 KO's) Vs. Jamie Alvarado (6-4, 4 KO's) of Mexico City who recently faced each other back in April with Alvarado coming away with the victory in that meeting of the two Warriors. Now they look to settle the score once and for all, with the winner walking away with the State Title.
Also appearing on the "Rumble" card Hammond's own local favorite Light Welterweight Johnny "Kid One In A Million" Novak (18-1, 6 KO's) returns to the ring in an eight round Special Attraction. Chicago Middleweight "Marvelous" Shay Mobley (14-7, 6 KO's), the ever-popular Light Welterweight Jermaine "Too Sweet" White (14-1, 7 KO's) and Middleweight Derrick "Superman" Findley (5-1 4 KO's) will round out the card.
