David Diaz Faces Jose Armando Santa Cruz for WBC Lightweight Title August 12th!

Chicagoland fan favorite lightweight David Diaz, 31-1-1 (16KO's) is currently finishing preparations for his WBC lightweight world title fight with champion Jose Armando Santa Cruz, 23-1 (13KO's) of Lincoln Heights, California on Saturday, August 12th at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Said Diaz this week, "This is a huge opportunity for me and I'm more than ready to win the world title on August 12th."
The Diaz/Santa Cruz twelve round championship bout is part of the outstanding HBO/PPV event headlined by the heavyweight world championship between Hasim Rahman and Oleg Maskaev.
The Rahman vs. Maskaev pay-per-view telecast, beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on August 12 has a suggested retail price of $49.95, and will be distributed domestically by HBO Pay-Per-View and will be available to more than 56 million pay-per-view homes.
