Robert Morales: `Lights Out' Toney needs a lighter tummy

Two hundred and thirty-seven pounds is a lot of weight to carry for a fighter standing 5-foot-9. James "Lights Out" Toney finally admitted as much, which is shocking because he usually admits to nothing more than being the greatest fighter ever.

Toney, 38 today, will take on Samuel "The Nigerian Nightmare" Peter on Sept. 2 at Staples Center. The winner will become the mandatory challenger to Oleg Maskaev and his World Boxing Council heavyweight championship. Showtime will televise.
