"I almost knocked him out," said Estrada. "When I'm on my game, there's no stopping me. Meaning, when I'm in the zone, there's nobody that can beat me but myself.
"It was redemption. Last year, I lost a split decision to him, which was total robbery and never should have happened. I was robbed. That fight made me train even harder. I feel vindicated. It was total domination." With his win, Estrada's record now stands at 10-8 and seven knockouts, while Sloan's is now at 6-21-2 with three knockouts. Estrada continued, "I don't know if you know Louis Turner, but I might be fighting him next Saturday. It's not final, but I should know by Tuesday or Wednesday or earlier. The fight's going to be on HBO. It's just another obstacle in front of me."
