LOS ANGELES, Thursday, October 26 – They’re two of the most feared punchers in boxing, and on Saturday, October 28th, only one will be left standing when Kermit ‘The Killer’ Cintron faces Mark ‘Poison’ Suarez for the vacant IBF Welterweight Championship of the World.

Who will it be?

You’ll have to tune in to MaxBoxing.com to find out, as the leading provider of boxing content on the web is pleased to announce that it will be airing this highly anticipated war exclusively on a pay-per-view basis, with existing MaxBoxing.com subscribers receiving a discount on the $9.95 viewing price.

This exclusive webcast, which is provided by MaxBoxing’s MaxTV, in association with Bobby Bostick Promotions and PrizeFight Network.com, will be telecast live from the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach , Florida on Saturday, October 28th, beginning at approximately 8:30pm ET / 5:30pm PT.

Cintron-Suarez will be available to all boxing fans with a dial-up or broadband connection at a price of $9.95, which includes at least two undercard fights and a free one month membership to MaxBoxing.com. MaxBoxing.com subscribers may view the card for a discounted price of $7.95.

Those unable to see the fight live on October 28th will be able to view an on demand replay of the bout for a one week period following the bout.

Windows Media Player is required for viewing.

A native of Carolina , Puerto Rico, Kermit ‘The Killer’ Cintron (26-1, 24 KOs ) made a huge splash on the boxing scene in 2001 when he stopped Said Ouali in five rounds on Showtime. After that introduction to fight fans worldwide, Cintron stopped the likes on Ian McKillop, Teddy Reid, and Elio Ortiz en route to a title shot against WBO champion Antonio Margarito in 2005. Cintron fell short in his first title effort, but with new trainer Emanuel Steward in his corner and two subsequent TKO wins (including a stirring instant classic over David Estrada), Cintron is ready to make amends in his second shot at world championship gold.

One of boxing’s most underrated warriors, Mark Suarez (25-2, 13 KOs ) has quietly honed his craft since his pro debut in 1997. A native of Riverside , California , ‘Poison’ has won seven fights in a row, all by knockout, and has rightfully gained a reputation as a fearsome puncher who always looks to bring the fight to his opponents. In his last bout, on January 7, Suarez made a jaded New York crowd sit up and take notice as he blasted out previously unbeaten James ‘Spider’ Webb in just 44 seconds to earn a shot at the vacant IBF crown.

In addition to the explosive showdown between Cintron and Suarez, viewers will also be treated to a ten round super flyweight bout featuring former junior flyweight and flyweight world champion Mauricio Pastrana (32-7-2, 20 KOs) and a six round middleweight bout headlined by unbeaten Aaron Pryor Jr. (6-0, 4 KOs), the son of the legendary Hall of Famer.

Launched in 2001, MaxBoxing.com is currently the number one ranked independent boxing website by Google and is partnered with leading sports provider ESPN. Lauded by Sports Illustrated and Forbes.com as the premier site for boxing coverage, MaxBoxing.com features respected columnists and extensive video coverage of the fight game. The site began airing live events in 2003, beginning with the heavyweight bout between former world champions Hasim Rahman and Al Cole. In 2004, MaxBoxing.com, in association with Frank Warren’s Sports Network, was the exclusive US and Canadian broadcast outlet for the WBU junior welterweight title fight between Ricky Hatton and Carlos Wilfredo Vilches, and 2005 saw MaxTV air the heavyweight bout between future title challenger Calvin Brock and David Bostice.
