Attending the recent World Boxing Hall of Fame banquet in Los Angeles, actor Ryan O�Neal (left) poses with author and CBZ contributor Jim Glen. Glen was onhand to accept posthumous induction into the WBHF for his grandfather, the former Scottish middleweight and light heavyweight champion Bert Gilroy, whom Glen has co-authored a book on. O�Neal, an avid fight fan and former manager of one time #1 welterweight contender Hedgemon Lewis, was onhand accepting the Hall�s humanitarian award and proudly accepted a copy of Jim Glen�s work. A book review of �Gilroy was here� can be seen in the July issue of the CBZ journal, �the Wail�.
