Mike Anchondo is Back!
DRL Promotions is happy to announce the return of former WBO Super Featherweight Champion Mike “The Powerful” Anchondo (26-1 19KO’S).
Mike Anchondo is scheduled for an eight round bout and is part of December 14, Marriott’s Battle in the Ballroom Show in Irvine, California. His opponent is to be announced in the next couple of days. “I’m extremely excited about coming back home and getting back on course. We have a big year ahead of us at DRL Promotions and I’m one of the key components of the year ahead of us. I know I have the ability, strength and dedication to win yet another title. I want to fight the elite in the Lightweight division.’ Said Anchondo.
“As for my time off, it was something I needed.’ ’I’ve been in the ring for the last 19 years through my amateur and professional carrier without a vacation and I needed sometime for myself!”
