Anchondo Opponent Named!
DRL Promotions announced it has found an opponent for former WBO Super Featherweight Champion Mike Anchondo (26-1 19KO’S). Armando Cordoba (22-28-2 16KO’s) will be Mike’s first test in the Lightweight division. Mike Anchondo and Armando Cordoba are scheduled for an eight round bout on December 14, at the Marriott’s Battle in the Ballroom Show in Irvine, California.
“I think that Armando is a good test for me at the Lightweight division. I’ve had some time away from boxing, and he’s fought the likes of Jose Cotto and David Santos. This is a great way for me to test the waters in the Lightweight division.” Added Anchondo.
