Mexican Warriors Erik Morales & Jose Luis Castillo Head to Cicero Friday Night!

(CHICAGO, November 29, 2006) -- Legendary Mexican warriors Erik Morales and Jose Luis Castillo have confirmed plans to attend DECEMBER FRENZY this Friday night, December 1st, at Cicero Stadium. Both former world champions will be on hand to support Ricardo Castillo, younger brother of Jose Luis, as he faces Takalani Ndlovu for the IBO super bantamweight world title in the main event.

DECEMBER FRENZY is presented by Dominic Pesoli's 8 Count Productions and Bob Arum's Top Rank Incorporated along with Miller Lite and TCF Bank.

Cicero Stadium is located at 1909 S. Laramie, just minutes from the Eisenhower and Stevenson Expressways. Doors for this event will open at 5:30pm with the first bell at 6:30pm. Tickets, starting at $30, are on sale in advance by calling 312-226-5800.

The Castillo/Ndlovu bout headlines a massive ten bout evening of world class professional boxing featuring sixty five scheduled rounds.

Said Pesoli, "It's great that Erik and Jose Luis will be there to support Ricardo. Jose Luis came to Chicago last year to see Ricardo when he beat Hugo Vargas at the Aragon . He called this week and said he was bringing Erik with him. Both Erik and Jose Luis truly personify the classic warrior spirit of boxing."

Concluded Pesoli, 'It's going to be a terrific night of boxing, we're expecting another packed house. This is our biggest event of the year, we just added Achour Esho, the welterweight newcomer that our fans loved in his first two pro fights."

Ricardo Castillo vs. Takalani Ndlovu, super bantamweights, twelve rounds
WBC Title Eliminator

Francisco Lorenzo vs. Cristobal Cruz, super featherweights, eight rounds

Alejandro Valdez vs. Samuel Lopez, bantamweights, eight rounds

Mike Nevitt vs. Paulino Avitia, light heavyweights, six rounds

Wilton Hilario vs. Jesse King, featherweight, six rounds

Ivan Rodriguez vs. Benjamin Orozco, bantamweights, six rounds

Thomas Hayes vs. Jim Franklin, heavyweights, six rounds

Andrzej Fonfara vs. Eberto Medina, welterweights, five rounds

Victor Polakov vs. Michael Rush, middleweights, four rounds

Achour Esho vs. TBA, four rounds, welterweights

The Master of Ceremonies for this event will be the internationally recognized voice of Latino boxing, Lupe Contreras.

The weigh in for this event will be held at on Thursday, November 30th at 7pm at Club Aquarius, 2459 N. Pulaski on the northwest side of Chicago.
