Former Olympian Lopez Storms the Castle & other results from Boston December 15, 2006, BOSTON, MA: Former 2-time Olympian Patrick Lopez stopped rugged Agustin Velez in the sixth round Friday night to cap an entertaining card put on by promoter Hank Touhey and the Alpha Omega Entertainment Group. Lopez used his speed to land several debilitating body shots to eventually wear down his opponent. Referee Dick Flaherty stopped the bout as Velez began to wilt while against the ropes. Middleweight Contender John Duddy joined the broadcast team of Ed Berliner and Mike DeLisa at ringside for the NESN coverage of the bouts. NESN will televise the card in January.
