WHY: No. 1-ranked World Boxing Council heavyweight Samuel “The Nigerian Nightmare” Peter and World Boxing Association super welterweight champion “El Gallo” Jose Antonio Rivera will participate in a rare, open-to-the-public media workout at Seminole Paradise in front of Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Saturday.
Peter will take on four-time world champion and WBC No. 2-ranked James “Lights Out” Toney and Rivera will take on WBA 154-pound champion in recess “Tremendous” Travis Simms on Saturday, Jan. 6 at Hard Rock Live in the biggest fight ever at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
A Ring-Card Girl Contest will follow the workout, with winners appearing at the Jan. 6 event.
