Euro-Beat Update: Abazi vs. Guerrero Now on for February 23rd!

THE Spend Abazi, 25-1, vs Robert "the Ghost" Guerrero, 19-2-1, fight for the vacant IBF title has now been announced for February 23 and will take place at the Falconercenter in Copenhagen. For Abazi itīs the biggest fight of his career. He has previously held the EBU title at bantam and has beaten the likes of Alexandre Yagupov, Dmitry Kirilov and Lehlongo Ledwaba.

The big show in Baku, Azerbadjan, that was scheduled for this weekend have been moved to February 10 and will now take in place in St Petersburg.

Jr welters Stephane Benito and Nugzar Margvelashvili clash for the IBF I/C title February 3 in Toulon.

Thierry Karl, a very controversial winner the first time around, will defend the French 160 lb title against Frank Mezaache March 31 in St Quentin.

Ukrainian Yuri Voronin has Italian Alberto Servidei as co-challenger for the vacant EBU featherweight title.

Norwegian superbantam Reidar Walstad is in London and has sparred with the likes of Martin Power, Ian Napa and Graham Earl. Walstad takes on Jean Marie Codet in Helsinki January 30.

Jr welter Armando Candel fight Sento Martinez in Sueca, Spain, February 3. Emiliano Casal is also on the show and might face Colombian veteran Ubadel Soto in another contest at 140.

Georgian lightweights Levan Shonia and Vepkhia Tchilaia clash for the vacant UBO title February 7 in Tblisi.
