THERE is no official confirmation from Universum yet but German heavy Luan Krasniqi tells local media in Stuttgart he takes on American Brian Minto in the headliner of Universumīs big show there March 17. Minto is of course well known in Germany after his one-sided beating of Axel Schulz.

Krasnigi, 29-2-1, tells the Stuttgarter Zeitung he would have preferred to get Lamon Brewster, whom he lost to in a WBO title challenge back in 2005, as an opponent. Luan beat David Bostice in his only fight in 2006 and was then sidelined with a managerial dispute and a knee injury.

Also on the Stuttgart bill is WBA bantam champ Wladimir Sidorenko in a rematch against Panamanian Ricardo Cordoba. They drew the first time around after a very good fight.

Ukrainian heavy Aleksander Dimitrenko is featured in the third headliner.
