Cestus Press Release: Don “Da’Bomb” George Destroys Kendall Gould

LAST night in Cicero, Illinois, Cestus Management’s 168-pound prospect Donovan George scored a sensational first round stoppage of tough veteran Kendall Gould. It was Donovan’s debut as a Top Rank fighter and he made the most of it.

Early in the first round the Chicago based George, who improved to 12-0-1 with 10-Kos, flashed a very quick and power jab which kept snapping Gould’s head back. A little after the first minute of action, Donovan followed a jab with a brain rattling right-hand which sent the veteran to the canvas. The tough Gould beat the count, but “Da’Bomb” quickly moved in and mercilessly pounded away prompting the referee to call a halt to the bout.

“I told everyone that I was going to deal out some pain and finish this guy (Kendall Gould) quickly,” said an elated George after the fight. He added, “I’m the next big star in boxing man. I’m good looking; powerful and always give the fans a great show.”

Cestus Management’s advisor, Mike Michael, said, “This was a great Top Rank debut for Donovan as he showed that he is ready for the next step in his career. We are very proud of this young man and know that Don “Da’Bomb” George is going to be a superstar.”

Michael added, “Cestus Management would like to thank Mr. Bob Arum and Top Rank for their continued support. Only one thing left to say: lock the doors and run for cover because it is “Da’Bomb” time.”
