Interview with David Banks

DAVID Banks is ready for his rematch on Telefutura, but he talked to Ricardo Ibarra first.
Last November, Portland fighter David Banks was called in as a last minute replacement to take on undefeated contender Elvin Ayala. Ayala, a highly touted Northeast fighter, and his team were looking for a solid guy to give Ayala a few good rounds and make him look good on national television.
David Banks turned out to be a better fighter than they expected. Banks went into the Roxy in Boston, Massachusetts, Ayala's hometown, and stole the show coming away with a well deserved split decision victory.
