Illness Diverts Grimsley from Moorer Fight!

Press Release

HOLLYWOOD, FL, March 14 – George Foreman couldn’t knock Crawford Grimsley out in their 12 rounder in 1996, but a severe intestinal illness – Diverticulitis – has forced the Florida heavyweight out of Friday night’s bout with former heavyweight champion Michael Moorer on Seminole Warriors Boxing Promotions’ Tribal Pride 2 card.

Grimsley will undergo surgery on Friday in Florida. Seminole Warriors Boxing Promotions wishes ‘The Terminator’ a speedy recovery.

"With only two days left before fight night, we have replaced Crawford Grimsley with a hard hitting, veteran of 50 fights in Sedreck Fields. Michael has trained very hard for this fight and the crowd is looking forward to seeing him in action,” said Leon Margules, Executive Director of Seminole Warriors Boxing.
