SUGAR Ray Leonard apparently never had any intention of sticking and moving his way to victory over Marvin Hagler nearly 20 years ago, even though that's exactly what he did.

Leonard told this newspaper the plan of attack for the April 6, 1987 fight changed drastically just days before his stunning split decision to win Hagler's World Boxing Council middleweight title at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
