Pat Russo: Help Re-open Sunset Park Boxing Program!

NEW YORK -- On Tuesday March 27th, 2007 at 6:30 PM Mayor Bloomberg and Parks Commissioner Benepe will be at the Sunset Park Recreational Center located at 43rd Street and 7th Ave. in Brooklyn for a Town Hall Meeting.

I am asking that as many people as possible attend and ask them to re open the Sunset Park Boxing Program.

The Sunset Park Boxing Program was started over twenty years ago by Police Officers that wanted to provide neighborhood youth with a positive alternative to gangs, drugs and other criminal activity. It worked, over twenty years, thousands of Brooklyn Boys and Girls participated in the program and avoided the temptations of gangs and drugs.

Please attend and ask the Mayor and Parks Commissioner to PLEASE RE OPEN THE SUNSET PARK BOXING PROGRAM.

Tuesday March 27th 6:30 PM Sunset Park, 43 Street and 7th Ave. Brooklyn New York.
