Manfredo has one sweet believer

PETER Manfredo Jr. made quite an impression on Sugar Ray Leonard during their time on "The Contender," a reality show on which Manfredo boxed and Leonard works as an adviser to the fighters as well as host and consultant.
Leonard believes Manfredo has a chance to upset Joe Calzaghe on April 7.
"I've seen Peter on numerous occasions during the show," Leonard said. "I saw his work ethic, I saw the way he talks, his confidence, his bravado. He just has the discipline and the motivation, and that is very difficult for fighters to maintain once they reach a little bit of success.
