UNDEFEATED cruiserweight prospect Aaron Williams (11-0-1, 8 KO’s) will appear on Bobby Hitz’ “Wednesday Night Fights” card, April 18th, in Hoffman Estates, IL, 35-minutes northwest of Chicago.

“I’m in great shape,” Williams said after a recent sparring session with Montel Griffin at the Top Rank Gym. “I’ve been getting great sparring and Axel (conditioning coach Axel Murullo) has been killing me.”

The 21 year old prodigy had over 100 amateur bouts, won 9-national titles, including three wins over current NABF Cruiserweight Champion, Matt Godfrey. As an amateur, Williams was a protégé’ of Hall of Fame trainer Emanuel Steward.

Williams’ trainer, former WBA Light Heavyweight Champion, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, is very bullish on his young charge. “Aaron is a student of the game and he’s working with the best fighters in the world. He’s in great shape and he’s ready to go.”

“Aaron is one of the best young prospects in boxing,” said Williams advisor, Patrick Doljanin. “I’ve spoke with Leonard Ellerbe (advisor to Floyd Mayweather Jr.) and Chris Byrd’s father; both have said Aaron will become a world champion.”

“This is a great opportunity for Chicago boxing fans to see the most talented young prospect the city has seen in quite some time.”

Manager Albert Falcon added, “We have some exciting things happening with Aaron. He will be boxing again in May and we will be making a major announcement in the coming weeks.”

The Sears Centre is a 35 minute commute from Chicago. The action starts at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased by calling (847) 649-2222, Warehouse Gym & Boxing Club (847) 831-0723, or, by going to www.searscentre.com .
